working with background is one of
the oldest tricks in the book when it comes to video editing as you might
already know many action movies made in holly wood will be very difficult to
make without the help of green screens switching backgrounds is a cost-effective
way of shooting videos, for instance, you can shoot a film in your home and
infuse a background that would look like the original footage was taken in the
desert and even if you're a vlogger you might want to refer to something in
the background of your video that actually isn't there placing a new background
in your video will do the trick however removing the existing background of particular footage and replacing it with another background typically requires
some advanced videography skills with the help of a green screen so what
happens when you don't have one.
first open Filmora 10.
if you haven't installed it there's a link in the bottom next you need to import your footage into the media library on Filmora 10.
with that done drag and drop the video into the timeline on the video editor go to the effects panel and click on a portrait located at the left of your screen this opens some effects options for you to play with next identify the effect called human segmentation drag and drop this effect onto the timeline of your footage and that's it, folks, once you do that Filmora 10 automatically picks out the existing background separates it from the image of the person in the footage and removes the background entirely.
it's so easy you don't have to bother yourself with expensive green screens and once you have removed the existing background replacing it with your desired background is just as simple.
All you need to do is to apply another video or image which will serve as your new background drag and drop that video or image onto the lower track of the timeline as you will notice there are a host of several scribble effects that you can choose from in Filmora 10.
try them on and see how it goes if
